Getting my chops painting flowers OVER and OVER and OVER It's a Doozy!

Hi friend!

Guess what? Today, I've been painting non-stop today! Seriously, even yesterday I spent at least 4 to 6 hours trying to master the art of painting roses or rose like objects. For some reason, they're my artistic nemesis! Drawing or painting them is so tricky because it's not just about a bunch of little precise petals; you have to be more about the flow, how it matches in with each rounded petal and how it blends into the next. It's a real challenge for me, but I'm loving it! My inspiration comes from some knockout roses I have, the camelia trees in Louisiana and some gorgeous flowers I was stalking at the grocery store. Ha ha. My rose bush is coral, pink, and light pink, all on the same bush! I think they might be called Orange Crush... or maybe not, don’t quote me on that, yeah maybe ignore me on this one. I will find out and get back with you. Hahahaa

XO- Amy

My little prayer for you today:

Dear heavenly father please give my friend the confidence to try to do new things that you have put on their heart. Things they think they aren't capable of that they would just put their faith in you Lord and your abilities. Not their own. With ourselves Lord we are limited, but with you all things are possible. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

Now go make something awesome!!! You've got this!!!

My itty bitty Art! Awe...

The one below I FINGER PAINTED! That was so FUN!!!

My knockout roses

Not mine but the colors are fabulous!

And WOW! Aren't these dudes AWESOME!!! It is escaping me what they are. I am so sad because I think I need them in my yard someday. Maybe it's a type of peony?!?!

These below are camelias from Louisiana. I will do a whole separate post for them. There is a park close to where our little vacay house is that has tons of trees loaded with gigantic rose like flowers IN THE WINTER!!! Was like February if I remember right. They were covering the ground!

Have a super day! The End!
